Last updated: 30 September 2026
This policy explains how Peace Financial Limited looks after the personal information you give us, including when you respond to one of our adverts on Facebook or Instagram, contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, or use this website.
Who we are
Peace Financial Limited (company number 17305961) is the controller of your personal information. Our registered office is Office 4, 1st Floor, 77-79 High Street, Watford, WD17 2DJ.
To ask a question about this policy or to use any of your rights, email enquiries@peacefinancial.co.uk.
What information we collect
We collect the information you give us when you make an enquiry. This is usually:
- your name, telephone number and email address;
- details of what you are looking for, such as the type of finance, the amount, the value of the property, how you plan to repay and your timescale;
- a record of whether you agreed to be contacted, how, and when;
- the content of the messages, calls and emails between us; and
- which advert or campaign your enquiry came from.
You may also choose to give us further information while we talk, such as details of a project or your circumstances. Only share what is relevant to your enquiry.
This website does not use cookies or analytics tools. Our hosting provider may keep basic technical logs, such as your IP address, for security and to keep the site running.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange a conversation about what you need.
- To contact you by WhatsApp, telephone, email or text where you have agreed to it.
- To keep records of our enquiries and communications.
- To understand which of our adverts lead to enquiries, so we can run them more effectively.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
Our lawful bases
- Consent, where you have agreed to us contacting you by WhatsApp, telephone, email or text. You can withdraw it at any time.
- Legitimate interests, where we handle your enquiry, keep our records in order and measure our advertising. We consider that these uses are reasonable and expected, and that they do not override your rights.
- Legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or share information.
Automated tools
We use software, including AI-assisted tools, to log enquiries and to help send an initial reply. These tools do not make decisions about you or about whether finance is available to you.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where we need to:
- with service providers who help us run our business, such as the platforms that deliver our adverts and collect enquiries (Meta), our record-keeping and automation tools, our messaging and email providers, and our website hosting provider;
- with other firms we work with in order to deal with your enquiry, where you have asked us to take it forward;
- with our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers; and
- with regulators, the police or other authorities where we are required to.
Our service providers only act on our instructions and must keep your information secure.
Transfers outside the UK
Some of our providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where that happens, we make sure a lawful transfer mechanism is in place, such as an adequacy decision or approved standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum.
How long we keep your information
If your enquiry does not go ahead, we keep your information for up to 12 months after our last contact, and then delete it or make it anonymous. If your enquiry does go ahead, we keep the relevant records for as long as the law and regulatory rules require.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it;
- object to us using your information for our legitimate interests;
- ask for your information in a portable format, where this applies; and
- withdraw your consent to being contacted at any time.
To stop messages from us, reply STOP to a text or WhatsApp message, or email us. We will respond to a request within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
